This page describes the intellectual property position of BrainVeda, operated by Rakesh Sir. BrainVeda respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. This page clarifies what BrainVeda owns, what it does not own, and how to contact us for copyright matters.

2. Original BrainVeda Content

The following content on BrainVeda is original work created by Rakesh Sir and is the intellectual property of BrainVeda / Rakesh Sir:

• Video lectures — All video lectures recorded and taught by Rakesh Sir. Hosted on YouTube at youtube.com/@TheBrainVeda.
• PDF Notes and Class Slides — Study notes and presentation slides prepared by Rakesh Sir, stored and served via BrainVeda's platform.
• DPPs (Daily Practice Problems) — Original practice question sets prepared by Rakesh Sir.
• Mock Tests — Original test papers prepared by Rakesh Sir.
• Doubt of the Day content — Doubt selections and explanations curated by Rakesh Sir.
• Website design and code — The BrainVeda website design, user interface, and application code.
• BrainVeda brand — The BrainVeda name, logo, and visual identity.

3. Third-Party Content and Material

Some content on BrainVeda involves third-party material:

• PYQs (Previous Year Questions) — Previous Year Questions are based on past CBSE examination papers. The original examination questions are published by CBSE. BrainVeda's compilations, formatting, solutions, and explanatory content are our intellectual property. CBSE® is a registered trademark of the Central Board of Secondary Education, Government of India. BrainVeda is not affiliated with CBSE.
• NCERT concepts and topics — BrainVeda's content covers topics from the NCERT Class 10 curriculum. NCERT® is a registered body of the Government of India. BrainVeda does not reproduce NCERT textbook text; our explanations are original. NCERT content is governed by NCERT's own copyright policy.
• YouTube platform — Videos are hosted on YouTube. YouTube's terms of service govern the video hosting platform. BrainVeda embeds YouTube videos using YouTube's standard embed mechanism.
• Google Forms — Some DPP exercises use Google Forms. Google Forms is a product of Google LLC. BrainVeda is not responsible for Google Forms content or its data practices.

Note: If any content on BrainVeda uses third-party diagrams, images, or resources from sources not mentioned above, the ownership/licensing of such specific resources should be confirmed and documented by the owner.

4. User-Submitted Content

When you submit a doubt through BrainVeda's "Ask a Doubt" feature:

• You retain ownership of your submitted text
• By submitting, you grant BrainVeda a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your question for educational purposes (e.g. preparing a Doubt of the Day response visible to students)
• BrainVeda will not commercially sell your submitted doubts
• Doubt submissions do not publicly identify you to other students

Contact form messages are for communication purposes only and are not used or published as content.

5. External Links and Resources

BrainVeda provides links to external websites and platforms (YouTube, Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, Google Forms). We do not claim ownership of any content on those external platforms. Links are provided for educational convenience and do not constitute endorsement of those platforms.

6. Copyright Complaints and Takedown Process

If you believe that any content on BrainVeda infringes your copyright or intellectual property rights, please notify us:

Your notice should include:

• Your name and contact information
• Description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• The specific URL on BrainVeda where the allegedly infringing content appears
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate

We will review valid complaints and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the alleged infringing content, within a reasonable time period.

7. Trademarks

The BrainVeda name and logo are used by BrainVeda / Rakesh Sir. BrainVeda is not a registered trademark at this time. Formal trademark registration should be considered by the owner before commercial scaling.
